Grant Writing Lunch & Learn: You've Got the Job - Now What?

Have you suddenly found yourself being assigned to grant writing and unsure where to go? If so this class is the one for you. Find out where to begin the first day on the job and the right way to establish a grants office. This program is mostly helpful for beginning to intermediate grant writers.

Ribbon Cutting - Kenansville Branch Library

The official ribbon cutting for the recently opened Kenansville Branch Library is this November! Come and join us and Commissioner Lane in celebrating this new library milestone. Crafters' Corner - Get Ready for the Holidays!

Library Book Sale - Veteran's Memorial

Due to the success of our last book sale, the Library is holding another round the last weekend in October. Stop by the St. Cloud Branch the 26th and 27th for some great buys.

Pricing includes: hardbacks and oversized paperbacks for 25 cents and regular paperbacks for 10 cents. Or, bring your own box and fill it for only $2.00. There will be books of all types, from romance to law so come on out early for the best picks of the bunch.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting


The big annual meeting for the Friends of the Library is coming up this October.

Get more involved in your local library: take part in fundraisers for library resources, help with events and programs, and much more. Join us in making the Osceola Library System a better place for everyone.

Light refreshments will be served and new members are always welcome, so drop by and see what it's all about.

The meeting starts at 6.30 p.m. and will be held in the Lillie Room, upstairs at the Hart Memorial Library, on October 25th.

October Movies at the Library

To hot outside? Come and join us at the Library for some of the latest new movie releases. Free air, free popcorn, and free entertainment. We offer two film series every month: Movies at the Library and Oscar Presents. Films are shown in each Library’s multipurpose room up on the big screen. Film ratings are posted next to each movie title. This month the Alfred Hitchcock Film Series is taking the place of Movies at the Library.
